In the book Secret Keeper, the author depicts the life of Asha, a teenage tomboy living in Delhi with her elder sister, dad and mom. This book took place in the 1900's where many people in India were facing problems with their jobs. Asha's dad was one of the engineers that had to shift to new York alone due to his job problem leaving Asha, Reet (her elder sister), and her mom alone to live in his home town of Calcutta. This leads to family drama along with Asha's sacrifice to keep everyone happy.

Misery by Stephen King

Paul Sheldon awakens in the home of Annie Wilkes after a car accident in a snowstorm.  His body is shattered, but Annie, a former nurse, has the medicine and the expertise to care for until the roads clear and she can get him to the hospital.  But, Paul soon learns that she has no intention of taking him to the hospital.  And, unfortunately for Paul, who is trapped in bed while his broken bones heal, he also realizes that Annie is a psychopath.

Misery is an engrossing psychological thriller - I couldn’t put it down.  I had to find out if Paul would survive the terrors inflicted on him by his “#1 Fan.”  I highly recommend it for fans of horror and suspense.
